Ben Stein on Ocasio-Cortez: “She Doesn’t Know her Ass From Her Elbow” Ben Stein: I make of it the fact that we listen to her is just amazing, the fact that we pay any attention to her is just amazing. She knows something is wrong, but her "fix" is a bad one, and not going to fix anything. Unfortunately she is trying to re-invent the wheel, while others have past that stage a long time ago. easy

Somebody must have realized how useful she would be... I don't disagree that a sitting president does have certain protections of the office, and perhaps a degree of deference on low crimes and misdemeanors that might be overlooked for fear of damaging the office (and neither party wants to start something that will boomerang back on their next incumbent), but at least presidents have used blind trusts, unlike members of congress who are not subject to insider trading laws, and most don't have an ounce of ethics which might prevent their enriching themselves by their positions. Nevertheless, this has not seemed to stop presidents from also ending up much richer from having held the office. (not including the current President who is losing plenty by running for office) Romans828IsTrue and easy

(not including the current President who is losing plenty by running for office) Running for office? He did virtually nothing to separate himself from his businesses. In 2016, Trump owned a direct stake in more than 380 business entities -- and held an indirect stake in many more. After becoming president, he transferred those direct ownership stakes to six different entities, mostly Delaware holding companies. But the transfer of ownership was meaningless; a revocable trust that was created to benefit him -- and that he can assume control of at any time -- sits at the center of it all. https://www.salon.com/2017/09/10/trump-inc-inside-the-presidents-not-so-blind-trust/

How can someone 'distance' himself from ALL BUSINESS?? It's pretty much the first time there has ever been someone who's not a slimy politician in the Oval Office, so it's all breaking new ground. Give it a chance! This president has done more for you than you have ever done for him, so show a little appreciation for a change!
