It's been red for a while now.

This "Consciousness Project" is a great idea,

but its reliability is questionable just as

is all "research." However the fact is:

"This is the Dawning ..."

This was the first time I saw this kinda cool... The ball is green but green blue for a min...

It is an interesting idea... and concept.

If this dot is not tracking Bush and Cheney's threat level, what is it supposed to be telling us? What's large or small about global consciousness? I always figgered it to be one-size-fits-all, though I like it to be loose fitting.

Nice to see you here, Satya! We are watching the DOT even though we aren't always sure what it is about.

In my memory, the two extremes of this dot are red and blue, just like your avatar. Everything else represents a transition. Red, being "hot", represents stressful pressure to act out and boil over. The strong blue is "cool" and introverted, showing people turning within and seeking deeper grounding.

Is this the way that others see it? I heard through the grapevine that in the hours leading up to the 9/11 event, there was an unaccounted jump in the global consciousness dot which made no sense to anybody until after the fact. Since then people have been watching it to see if we can be more ready next time.

I went to their site and learned that they somehow collect "random numbers" from across the net.

I got to thinking that a gooder way to watch could be to connect some plants and/or maybe some eggs to an electroencephalograph machine, like they did in The Secret Life Of Plants, and see how living systems feel about what is all up in here in real time (a.k.a., the present).

Anyone with tech chops want to try that? Anyone? Beuller?

That's an interesting idea. It would have to be a lot of plants across the whole world to get an overall feel but it would be an interesting experiment.
