@Onca Foxx has changed the colors of the two forums. So that should help knowing where you are.

Here are some more tips

Go tot the top of the page. Click forums

Anything posted under the Wujo section is private

Anything posted under Webbot Discussions is public

Go to the top of this thread.

You will see Home > Forums> Webbot discussions.  This is public

If the top of the thread says  Home>  Forums> Wujo.  It is a private side thread.

That this thread, Ivermectin - they had to blackball it,  is public, is not a problem

Neo is probably right. It has been up for months along with other things and was probably not the cause of the access problems we we having to the forum.

I knowingly, was putting stuff on this public thread because I wanted more people to have access to it.

We just have had so little activity on the public side for years, many members did not realize this was a public thread.

Thank you, @Foxx for answering, even tho it wasn't the answer I was hoping for  :)

I'm guessing that it would still be possible to navigate to it with just a hostfile entry as long as you keep it up-to-date.

Hi mkb,

I did not have to log in, but when I check under my title, it says sign out, so l assumed that I was always logged in.

Greenmeadow, that helps a lot. Thanks for taking the time to explain that to me.

@Onca I don't quite understand your question. Can you explain what you are requesting in more detail?

I think Greenmeadow helped me to understand where some people want me to post stuff.

Okay, so I tried to respond directly to Christine's question ( I see some responses directly below their comment) and I clicked on the quote, but I don't see what I wrote. How do I respond directly under someone's comment?

@Onca  two ways to reply

1. Go to tye reply box at the bottom of the thread

Type @ and the persons name. Select the correct autofill and type your comment.

2. Tap the +quote under someones comment. It will add their comment to the reply box.  Put the cursor under the quote box, not in it. And type your reply

and like the real world you can not .. as far as i know pick what stuff you post to be private  ..

Yes you can. Public and Private are simply different areas of the Forum. Post in "The Wujo" and it's private. Post in "Public Webbot Discussions" and it's public.

Only Private Members can even see "The Wujo"

ETA: I know some members are on a phone or pad and don't get out the the main page often. If you are in a forum or thread and want to know which section you are in look at the top of the forum/thread, just below the header image, and see what the breadcrumbs say.

As long as we all understand that, "Private" is a relative term, it's all good.

Anyone know what “Wujo” stands for?

I could be wrong but I think it is a play on the term, dojo. A dojo is a formal gathering place for students of martial arts and a place that is treated with respect. The wujo is much the same but for the mental approach, without the phyz aspect.

I could swear that, when I first started reading this forum and Clif was posting the Wujo videos, I read that Wujo meant "wake up jack off". I can't believe I would have made that up myself!

The first two have also been seen elsewhere here at WBF but I'd like them to be visible everywhere, so I'm placing them in this public thread too

This sounds like very good news - the best we can aspire to (short of the pandemic ending)

the article that the second tweet references does its best to besmirch Ivermectin

the first tweet (mine) is a reply to someone who said that Ivermection is not proven safe or viable for covid so needs trials which would take ages to complete

https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/double-blind-ivermectin-study-reveals-covid-19-patients-recover-more-quickly-have-reduce

edited highlights:

83% of participants were symptomatic at recruitment. 13.5% of patients had comorbidities of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, hypertension or cancer. The median age of the patients was 35, ranging from 20 to 71-years-old.

Results

Treatment was discontinued on the third day, and patients were monitored every two days thereafter. By day six, 72% of those treated with ivermectin tested negative for the virus, vs. 50% of those who received the placebo. Meanwhile, just 13% of ivermectin patients were able to infect others after six days compared to 50% of the placebo group - nearly four times as many.

Hospitalizations

Three patients in the placebo group were admitted to hospitals for respiratory symptoms, while one ivermectin patient was hospitalized for shortness of breath the day the study began - only to be discharged a day later and "sent back to the hotel in good condition," according to the study.

"Our study shows first and foremost that ivermectin has antiviral activity," said Schwartz, adding "It also shows that there is almost a 100% chance that a person will be noninfectious in four to six days, which could lead to shortening isolation time for these people. This could have a huge economic and social impact."

I read today that the manufacturer of ivermectin has been bought up by Big Pharma so it will become impossible to acquire.

...and if it remains available, I'd bet an expensive dinner that they change the formula. Any guesses on how effective the "new, improved" formula will be?
