Ivermectin - they had to blackball it

Not new news, this was published last fall (and they were so optimistic about there being clinical trials...):

Ivermectin Docks to the SARS-CoV-2 Spike Receptor-binding Domain Attached to ACE2

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32871846/

Conclusion: The ivermectin docking we identified may interfere with the attachment of the spike to the human cell membrane. Clinical trials now underway should determine whether ivermectin is an effective treatment for SARS-Cov2 infection.

do not understand..explain a bit more perhaps?

well I'm guessing it's probably what horse people might call the horse dewormer known as Ivermectin....

looked it up and got this:

isn't anyone noticing this is absurd.

Tim Pool: Youtube says I can't tell you that new studies show Ivermectin may be an effective treatment for COVID.

I can however advise you to get a mRNA vaccine from a stranger while drunk at a bar because you might win $1 million dollars

How HCQ stops the spike proteins.

Results of those ivermectin studies that are not supposed to exist.

with the blood clotting on going talk, I don't understand why 'an aspirin a day'

is not recommended..

it had been for 'old' folks just as a precaution..

Many of the docs trying to find treatments have suggested an aspirin a day if you get Covid or have just been vaccinated.

I would not take full dose long term. For older folks who are on it long term they often take a baby aspirin.

After Mexico City introduced ivermectin plan, COVID hospitalizations and deaths disappeared

An initiative in Mexico City to prescribe ivermectin to COVID-19 positive patients has resulted in a 52–76 percent reduction in hospitalizations.

As part of the program of testing and early treatment, the Mexican government opened a study to track the effect that early treatment of COVID with ivermectin was having on the city’s population. Run by the Mexico Ministry of Health, DAPI, and IMSS, a phone-based monitoring program traced the health of individuals testing positive for COVID with an antigen test. The study followed two cohorts — those who received ivermectin and those who did not — and included 200,000 people, TrialSiteNews revealed.

Using the data garnered from its phone-call-based monitoring system and hospital data on admissions for COVID-19, the researchers discovered a significant reduction in hospitalizations for the group administered ivermectin versus the group which was not, totaling between 52 percent and 76 percent effective at preventing hospitalization.

In the month following, over 50,000 treatments had been delivered, coinciding with a steep drop in the number of both hospitalizations and deaths involving COVID-19 in Mexico City.

In fact, before February 25, Chamie-Quintero noted that excess weekly deaths had dropped by a staggering 3,000 in the three weeks prior, and that by February 27, 2021, hospital occupancy had dramatically decreased, going from around 90 percent at the end of January to almost 50 percent just weeks later.

Mexico City’s success with ivermectin is a real-world instance of peer reviewed research into the remedial benefits of the drug against the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

I've just shared this article with a doctor, whose reply is seen in the first tweet below

the second tweet has the article he sent me that rubbishes ivermectin

it's a blood thinner...is that what you mean? And was found not to be a good idea for seniors. I never did it.

Even though I don't need Ivermectin (I know other ways) I decided to get some for my friend this morning. So I called a local independent farm supply store. They had just been wiped out of the paste/gel minutes before I called, 14 packs to one woman customer. He said he'd have more by Wednesday. He still has plenty of the injectable.

I didn't bother with Tractor Supply.

Just went to a Tractor Supply Co. outlet today.

Had plenty (apple flavored) there on the shelf for $4.79.

I imagine the prices are going to skyrocket quite soon.

I thought they'd stopped selling it. Ok well I reckon I'll mosey on over there and look around because calling them or checking stock online is just about useless.

Hey pretty much any animal feed store will have it... I regularly go to three different ones and they all have various forms of Ivermectin

I was thinking of having them ship it, but then saw that a store was 5 minutes away, so I just went there.

This from their website:

After finding my receipt, the price for each tube was actually $4.79.

I've been using this periodically (after being out in public) since it was mentioned by @Onca. My local Farm and Fleet usually stocks it but was sold out when I last went. No problem ordering a 9-pack off Amazon.
